Churchwood Kindergarten is set in the beautiful coastal woodland at Churchwood Valley Holiday Park in Wembury.
With 20 acres of mature forest, a stream, a beach and miles of coastal paths to explore, the Kindergarten children will enjoy a new adventure every day.
Who is Running it?
Emma Draper is a fully DBS checked Level 3 Forest School Leader. Passionate about getting children having fun in the outdoors. She has been teaching Forest school for the last 2 years and is so excited to be running the forest school at Churchwood Valley.
What is Forest School?
Originally a Scandinavian idea, Forest School operate on the principle that children of all ages can benefit greatly from the hands on learning opportunities inherently present in a woodland environment. In an age when many children have few opportunities to be outdoors, it offers them a way to learn and experience a broad curriculum in a woodland setting.
